well after a lot of thought these past two days, I am going to go off of this diet. No I am not going to get a cheeseburger, or eat a loaf of bread, its just that
a)I feel like ass on this diet
b)yes, i’ve lost weight 5lbs now, but I think that the book is sort of misleading in that it advertises you are going to lose A LOT of weight quick. I am impatient, that’s why I chose it. I also does not empasize that you need to excercise that much. Bullshit
c) I realized that if I want to live a normal life, a normal thin life without having to be neurotic about my food choices..
1)If I want to lose weight and drink this shit is not going to work.
2)I need to drink water. I am so bad about this
3)I need to excercise
With this all said, I and a co-worker have decided to join Weight Watchers. I’ve done it before..I mean, I can at least have a beer without guilt and lose weight. She and I are also joining curves together.
I just feel like this Carbo thing is making me nuts. I have been very good. I mean today, let’s see I had a1/2 a small bagel and a few pieces of mandrin oranges, and some beans..I don’t know. Its just not USER FRIENDLy.

Things I will take away from this experience though, is that I will watch what carbs I do eat, I am going to even on WW, try to make sure I limit my bad carb choices, and also eating more veggies, bringing lunches, not pigging out. I havent’ hit the vending machine.
New York in March. Brrrr.
After reading Janine’s post, I was compelled to blog about my own business trip. I’m taking an IVR programming class at Nortel in Bohemia, NY — at least that’s where the Nortel office is supposed to be located; technically, it’s in Ronkonkoma, but it’s much easier to pronounce Bohemia, so I’m sure that’s why they use that name instead. “Ronkonkoma” is actually pronounced ron-kon’-k?-m?, and not ron’-kon-koh’-m?, as I heard someone say today.
While on a business trip in Long Island, I managed to find time to see 300. A word of warning: Only see this movie if you have no problem being exposed to the following:
The markets have been exceedingly bullish for the past several weeks - fueled by buyout and merger activity, stronger than expected first quarter earnings growth and a global economic boom. Inflationary concerns have been mostly muted and the meltdown in the sub-prime sectors has been moved to the back burner. Even the geopolitical front has been relatively quiet, save for some foiled terror plots and saber-rattling from Chavez. Unfortunately our market model isn’t designed to take these issues into account. It does however incorporate breadth analysis, which we believe is a very significant test of the markets staying power. And it’s the weakening of late in the breadth of the market that has culminated in a market model reversal from bullish to bearish.
